My story

Hi, glad you are here 👋, I am Phu.

My very first job was as a software engineer, but then exposed to data analysis for more than a decade, helping users to transform their business problems to a clear data requirement and converting heaps of data to insights for decision-making. However, I was literally unaware of how much changes happened in the emerging world of data recently, until one day after attending one of the online courses, "How organizations can achieve data fluency" in 2016, I was assigned to represent these ideas to the entire company staff. 

I did a serious research not only for this presentation but also I would realize to fill the gap in my knowledge and skills. I started to google and found so many online courses and materials on the Internet. There are even many crash courses online or in-person suggesting one to become a data scientist in just a few months. Obviously, it is confusing and seems a bit exaggerated. We need to start at some points and then gradually move deeper, and this learning path could take many months or years, I believe! So I picked up some useful links, deep-dived into several major skillsets for data, and started to follow the most influencers in the market. Later in 2021, I decided to pursue my higher study at Charles Darwin University, Australia.
